New AWS Account Structure

One of iCrowdNewswire’s highest priorities was to optimize their AWS infrastructure. Their previous AWS account had three separate companies hosted in a single AWS account. So, A2C Cloud was tasked with creating an organizational structure inside AWS that maps against the three separate entities that make up iCrowdNewswire. The ensuing step would then be to lift and shift each of the relevant AWS components into the designated AWS account. After this was complete, A2C would create a Dev/Test and Production environment in each AWS account. A2C Cloud aimed to work heavily on AWS Migration, Execution, and Support.

Once A2C Cloud understood thea good sense for what iCrowedNewswire needed, we moved to an AWS OU Structure creation and implementation phase. This involved Network Setup via CF scripts and Migration of EC2 instances used for a Content Engine. CF templates were generated for EC2 instances. A key step was provisioning a RDS instance using a CF template to capture snapshots of RDS and migrate new snapshots to AWS. A2CC utilized Elastic Beanstalk for the Content Engine and to migrate the environment. A2CC then migrated the Lambda function to push CloudWatch logs to Loggly. Another key part in the process was to create S3 buckets and migrate all required content.
